Flick’s reasons for the decision
Hansi Flick explained the reasons behind this temporary measure: "I decided that the captains would be chosen by vote because the squad is not complete yet. I think some players could come in and others could leave. When everything is settled, I will hold the vote. Until then, Raphinha is the captain along with Eric and Pedri."
